3 smoothie tips to boost your immune system

Lemon-Ginger Smoothie - the immune booster

Lemons provide your body with plenty of vitamin C, ginger is responsible for strengthening the immune system. Turmeric has a natural anti-inflammatory effect and the gentle honey sweetens the smoothie and cares for the mucous membranes.

Ingredients for one portion:


  • 2 lemons
  • 1cm big piece of fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 small piece of turmeric (about 1cm long)
  • 250 ml water

Preparation:

Peel ginger and turmeric and cut into small pieces, then mix until the fibres from the ginger disappear. Add lemon juice, honey and the water and continue mixing until the desired consistency is achieved.

Be gentle with ginger and turmeric at the beginning.

Cucumber-Buttermilk Smoothie - the refreshing one

Thanks to the mint, this smoothie is guaranteed to be refreshing and will give you new energy for your studies!

Ingredients for one portion:

  • 1 sprig of mint
  • ½ bunch of dill
  • 200 g cucumber 
  • 200 ml buttermilk
  • 25 g natural yogurt
  • salt at your discretion
  • ½ tablespoon lemon juice

Preparation:

Peel and core the cucumber and cut into cubes. Put all ingredients together in the blender and add salt to taste.

Mango-Raspberry-Smothie - the sweet treat for the soul

A delicious seduction for in between when you want to reward yourself for the long study or do yourself something good.

Ingredients for one portion:

  • 60g mango
  • 1 sprig of mint
  • 60g raspberries
  • 60g natural yogurt
  • 1EL milk drink

Preparation:

Cut mango meat into cubes, put all ingredients together in the blender and mix until the desired consistency is achieved.
