Opened in 2016 by six EHL Alumni, this cozy restaurant near Riponne is a must-visit place to enjoy a delicious brunch during the weekends. Their atmosphere features a warm and relaxed style that will make you feel right at home. Their menu varies with the seasons and is based on locally sourced products. You will find a wide choice of apéritifs, coffees, and delicious plates that are made to satisfy each taste.

With more than 60 years of experience, Le Café Romand is one of the most renowned brasseries in Lausanne and the French-speaking part of Switzerland. The brasserie is characterized by its traditional Swiss decor featuring vintage wood furniture and candelabra. They are known for their fondue paired with locally sourced wines.

Loxton is a modern Bar-Restaurant open every day of the week. It offers coffees, lunches, brunches, dinners, and delicious cocktails. Ideally located at the heart of Lausanne, it features a great terrace to enjoy during the sunny afternoons. This is the second project after Le Pointu of this talented team, headed up by EHL alumni.

After having graduated from EHL, Mike Chavanne (AEHL 2017) and Samuel Bretton (AEHL 2016), decided to join forces and venture into the F&B industry. The bar Restaurant Lucha Libre is a gastronomic reference to the Latin American culture as they offer lunch, brunch and dinner menus. Their restaurant hosts different atmospheres from the bar to the seating areas, all representing the Latin culture from the walls and right down to the last decorative detail.

Meraki is a new Lausanne destination for the youth. Adjacent to the Place de la Riponne, you can find delicious coffees, drinks and Mediterranean inspired meals from Mezzes to Italian sandwiches. It is one of the projects of AEHL Antoine Piguet and Afrim Beqa, grown to be popular among the Lausanne population as they offer a wide-open terrace ideal for these sunny afternoons and a mezzanine with a full library and board games.

8. Minuit Soleil

Minuit Soleil is a Mediterranean restaurant located near Lausanne cathedral. Since their opening in 2002, they have been known as the workshop of flavors, with dishes varying from Tapas, charcuterie to delicious fishes. The restaurant is directed by Laurent Paradiso, EHL graduate from 1990.
Insider tip: Our favorite dish is the Peso Ravioli.
